This is one of the cards that I sent off for the Crafty Ribbons Seam Binding Challenge. I found this quite tricky to do and with hindsight think I'd have been better off putting the sentiment on the bottom right hand corner or maybe leaving it off altogether! Anyway, this card was a bit of an experiment, a huge learning curve for me and I really enjoyed making it which is the most important thing.
The card base was covered with some hot pink paper. I then drew the flower stalks onto a square of white card before gathering up some wired ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and attaching it using a hot glue gun. The flowers were made from seam binding by simply tying a knot on one end of the seam binding before gluing it to a circle of card. The seam bind is then twisted whilst being glued onto the card circle. The sentiment is part of a set from Ladybug Crafts Ink.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Claire xx

Great card - I see what you mean about the lettering, maybe it should have got bottom right...but then it would leave a lot of white space at the top. I definately think its useable though and some people that we give cards to aren't as critical as we are ourselves. As you said 'enjoying making the card' is the important thing. xx
