It's ages since I had my Distress Inks out to play and I've missed them. So as soon as I saw this image from Delicious Doodles I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. Please excuse the photograph, it was a complete nightmare to obtain and took me longer to get a half decent one than it did to make the card!
I inverted the image so that the kings, buildings and star were in silhouette, printed it out and then cut to size. I then blended Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade and Black Soot distress inks to make the background and finished it with a spritz of glimmer mist. The image was then mounted onto black card and the cardbase. I used a freebie sentiment stamp to finish off.
