One more sleep til the big day!!! Are you excited??? I am - whhhhooooooo!!! :)
You're not going to believe this, but it challenge time over at Stampin with the Dragon and I'm sad to say that this is my last challenge with them. However, we figured that you'd enjoy a break from all the festivities and might like to make a card from your new stash! Sound good? Well what are you waiting for?? Oh that's right some details - ooopppsie!
This challenge is sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads who kindly let the DT have an image of their choice (thank you Di, you images are awesome!) and is also going to supply the winner of this challenge with five images of their choice (I warn you now it is going to take you ages to choose cos all the images are gorgeous). If you want to be in with a chance of winning all you need to do is make a card or project using your favourite holiday colour/s.
I used the image Christmas Kisses and really like the card I made with it (good job really as it's for my DH and so will be sat on my mantle for the next couple of weeks). I chose to use traditional red, green and gold for my card as nothing shouts Christmas to me more than those colours.
The image was coloured with Promarkers. I then added Stickles and Magic Soft to the fur trims. The mistletoe berries have been dotted with a Viva Pearl Pen and the leaves have been Glossy Accented. I've distressed the edges of just about everything in sight with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and then added some faux stitching. I also added some ribbon from Lidl and heat embossed a gold flourish using a Papersoft Stamp.
I decided to decorate both the insides and back of the card. The text circle has been heat embossed with the same flourish stamp that has been used on the front of the card. I just hope that DH likes the card now!
I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that stops by my blog and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
