Have you tried Stamp Soup? Owl bet you haven't!

If you didn't catch Polkadoodles on Create and Craft today you'll be wondering what I'm talking about! Well there were FOUR yes four brand new releases today and two of them were a brand new stamp collection aptly named Stamp Soup which can be found here and here. If you pop over to Create and Craft TV there maybe some sets still available there but I know stock is VERY limited.

There are also some fabulous CD's which co-ordinate beautifully with the stamps. The CD's are jam packed with the most amazing templates, papers, chalkboard sentiments and flowers but sadly I ran out of time to play with them.

Now these stamps are just so clever, each set lets you create 100s of different stamping combinations of flowers, leaves and embellishments to create unique designs and projects. You can simply stamp petals and leaves to build up flowers and patterns, mask the stamps to create more intricate designs or think completely out of the box and use them for things other than flowers! There are literally hundreds of different ways to use this inventive stamp set, you'll be amazed and addicted once you start!

This is the first of my samples and it's not flowers!!! It's a small family of kooky owls. To create the owls I used the large heart (body and wings), small heart (wings), quirky circle (eyes), smooth cup shape (nest) and stem (legs) from the Lemonade Fizz Set and the single small petal (body), and mini spikey circle (eyes) from the Lavender Tea Set

I hope you like my project and I've inspired you to use the stamps in a slightly different way.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Claire x
