I've had the idea of doing something like this in my head for a while, so as soon as I spotted the bones and skull in this collection I knew exactly what I wanted to do - a dinosaur excavation of course!
I started out by cutting out lots of bones and skulls. I then layered them up onto the canvas and covered them with tissue paper. once that had dried I added texture paste and acrylic paints. Once it had all dried I added some clear wax to the bones and then buffed most of it off.
I hope you like my little project.
Thanks for stopping by today.
