I've made this quick and easy card using the A4 Ultimate Die-cut & Paper Pack from the Capsule Elements Metallics.
1. Trim a piece of the patterned to paper to fit a 5" x 7" Anita's card blank, leaving a narrow border. Adhere the paper to the card using a Stick It Glue Stick.
2. Take one of the paper ribbons from the kit and trim to measure 5.5". Mark the centre of the strip and fold the edges to the centre, the top corners should be about 1/2" from the top. Fold the top corners back to create the collar wing tips.
3. Trim a narrow border from patterned paper to create a decorative edge for the shirt collar, glue into position.
4. Assemble a bow from the paper kit, secure with a brad before gluing into position.
5. Snip the heads from two more brads and adhere to the card using silicone glue.
6. To finish add a sentiment and the word DAD.
If you want to see me re-creating this card and others, then please feel free to pop along to Clarkes The Stationers, Bond Street, Brighton between 10am and 4pm.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Quick & Easy Birthday or Father's Day Card
Just thought I'd pop on to share a really quick and easy card that I made recently.
1. Cut a Papermania 8 x 8'' kraft card blank to 17 x 14cm. Cut a black 16.5 x 13cm rectangle panel and then a 13.5 x 11cm panel from Papermania Kraftstax. Place all pieces of cardstock so they are landscape and round off the top and bottom corners on the right-hand side with an Xcut Corner Punch.2. Apply a thin line of Anita’s Tacky Glue to the black panel and fix to the front of the kraft card blank. Ensure there is an even border of kraft showing around the edges.
3. Create fishtail tags using three varied lengths of Papermania Capsule Elements Wood Craft Tape, simply snip a 'V' into the end before sticking to the left-hand side of the card. Once you are happy with the placement, adhere the Kraftstax panel to the black card, making sure that the other end of the fishtail tags are covered.
4. Die cut the text from black cardstock. Use the Xcut Wedding Alphabet & Numbers for ‘Dad’, Xcut Mini Serif Alpha Dies for the rest of the text and finally the Xcut Dad Mini Sentiment Die for the moustache. Organise your text and adhere, enhancing the design by adding Anita’s 3D Clear Gloss to the moustache and word ‘Dad’.

Phoar!!! Fit or what???
Meet Body Builder Dan isn't he gorgeous? Look at those perfect pecs and that six pack - working out has certainly paid off for him! Sadly the same can't be said for me - for some strange reason lifting a pair of scissors and Graph'It markers just doesn't have the same effect as a visit to the gym!
This was a really quick and easy male card using minimal materials (infact apart from a bit of card, mirri board and the stars, everything came from the Work & Play CD 1)- the hardest part was deciding when to stop building the muscle tone on Dan's body!
Thanks for stopping by today.

Last Minute Father's Day Card!
OK so who stole this week? There was me sitting chilling with a nice glass of vino collapso and the phone goes and it's work, wanting to know if I want to do some extra hours - so as you do, I declined politely.
My lovely colleague at the other end of the line then said "see you tomorrow then!" At which point the conversation went something like this:
Me "Huh, I don't think so!!"
Colleague "You're not down as taking leave?"
Me "It's Thursday tomorrow and I do Friday..."
Colleague "Ummm - It's Friday tomorrow!!!"
Me "No way", glances casually at the date on the lappy, "oh pants - I've lost a day!"
Colleague laughing at this point "See ya tomorrow then!"
So not gutted enough that I was going to have work in the morning, I realised that I hadn't done my DT card for this week's Delicious Doodles Challenge which is One For The Fellas! Gulp a man's card needing to be done and quickly!! Not a great feeling! Anyway, I've knocked something together - not one of my best I'm afraid and you'll have to excuse the dodgy pictures cos they were taken at night, and this is it...........
I printed out the image Golf Ball & Tee three times, coloured it with Promarkers, cut it out and mounted it onto Green Bazzill Card using silicone glue. The golf ball has been de-bossed using a freebie embossing folder. The sentiment is computer generated and I've used my Cropadile Big Bite to set some eyelets, before threading onto string. I'm certain my Dad will like this card - only cos he loves anything golf based ;D
Anyway, thanks for stopping by today. I hope you all have a fab weekend - those of us in the UK will be battening down the hatches as there is a huge storm forecast to hit :( On the bright side it means more time for crafting!! :D
