Polka Doodles Olympic Challenge & Blog Hop

Yep that's right over at Polka Doodles we've decided to celebrate the Olympics with both a challenge and a blog hop which is about as much sporting activity you'll see from me this year!!! To enter simply make a card or a project using Red, White & Blue and add something that denotes Britain, then participate in the hop and leave a comment on each blog! Remember you don't need to use a Polka Doodles image to participate, but we'd love if it you did. Oh and before I forget here are the fab prizes that we have up for grabs:

First Prize - Studio 12 Picknix Collection 1 CD

Second and Third Prizes - An Emma Canning Download

This week I've made a door hanger and turned sleeping into a new Olympic sport!!! :D

I started off by paper piecing Millie Bedtime by Emma Canning using the papers from the Britannia Kit which was a freebie from the Polka Doodle Dandies Facebook Page. I then cut a rectangle of paper and covered it with the Denim Blue Paper from the same set, before rounding the corners with a punch. The quote has been generated on the computer, cut to size and then inked lightly with Fired Brick Distress Ink. To finish, I've glued Millie onto the hanger, added a ribbon rose, blinged up the crown and curled and beaded some crafter's wire for the hanger.

If you're also joining us for the hop, then you should've arrived here from Fliss's Blog  and your next port of call is Lou's Blog . Here's a complete list of the running order just in-case you get lost along the away.

Right that's it's from me today. Enjoy your weekend.

Claire x
