Delicious Doodles Challenge #4

It's me again - twice in one day!!! Anyway, it's time for another challenge over at Delicious Doodles Challenge Blog. This time we have a fabulous sketch for you to follow. The winner of this weeks challenge will receive five digi images of their choice from the store. I really hope you can find the time to play along with us.

I fancied doing something delicate and pretty this week, so after trawling the Delicious Doodles shop for images I found this gorgeous Blue Tit which I knew would work really well with this sketch and the papers I had in mind.

The image has been coloured with Promarkers, die cut with Nesties and the edges have been softened with Distress Inks. The DP's are Rose Garden from Papermania which again have been lightly inked. I punched some flowers and filled the centres with Soft Magic. The lace has been wrapped around a punched border strip. I've then pulled the whole card together with some faux stitching. I decided that the area just above the Blue Tit looked a little bare and so have popped a couple of butterflies on to break up the space. Finally, I added some Rock Candy Stickles and Glossy Accents.

For more inspiration, please stop by the rest of the DT's blogs as they've created some amazing projects.

Thanks for dropping in today.

Claire x

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

  18. That is so pretty. I love the way you've added the flowers so that they look as though they are flowering on the branch. Nice touch. Jaqui x
